Life Is FRAT - The Entrepreneurial Spirit in the U.S. is Alive and Well

The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in the United States, especially within alumni members of the Greek system.  Some of the fraternity and sorority members that follow the FratComm Twitter account are small business owners who have turned their hobbies and passions into business ventures.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, 23 million small businesses account for 54 percent of all sales and the number of small businesses in the U.S. has increased 49 percent since 1981. 

Whether its a alumnae sorority (Delta Zeta) member designing and selling her own jewelery to one customizing Greek paraphernalia for her own organization (Zeta Phi Beta,) an increasing number of fraternity and sorority members are starting their own businesses and the Greek community in general should support these endeavors. Help the U.S. economy by buying something from a business owner that's also a member of a fraternity or sorority.

Three Kappa Sigma Fraternity brothers who attended Lehigh University have come together to form Life Is FRAT, an American apparel company for all who live and love the fraternity life.
