The "Farmville Four" is the name given to four national sororities founded at Longwood University (formerly the State Female Normal School) in Farmville, Virginia. A clock tower at the university is dedicated to the four sororities. The Farmville Four include the following organizations: Kappa Delta, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Zeta Tau Alpha, and Alpha Sigma Alpha.

Kappa Delta is the first sorority to be founded at Longwood University. It was founded on October 23, 1897, on the beliefs of friendship, fellowship and sisterly love. It has initiated over 206,000 members and has 152 active chapters and 235 active alumnae chapters. Its official colors are turquoise blue and steel gray and its public motto is "Seeking the Noblest."

Alpha Sigma Alpha was founded on November 15, 1901. The organization's vision is to cultivate values and ideals in women who are known for their character and concern for others.
